Regular Information

Meetings  held at the Swindon Rugby Football Club, Greenbridge,

Swindon on the second and fourth Friday of each month, starting at 8.30pm.

Ride-Outs   Our Road Captains organise our ride-outs, these are Tim, Chris, Jake, Steve & Alan. 2008 Ride-out schedule is being planned and requests / ideas to Tim please.

Club Patches & T shirts

Embroidered Patches, T-Shirts etc can be ordered on an individual basis via the Club Secretary - Mandy. Screen printed garments can now be ordered individually. Costs are T Shirts £10 Sweatshirts £14, money for garments will now be taken at the time of ordering.

Current Nominations for the next year’s Village Award

Karen Turner - for getting so pissed at the Winter Ball that she fell asleep in the ladies loo for an hour, only waking up when she heard Clive calling her name!

Karen Turner – for trying to put her bike onto reserve on a ride-out at Spring Fever when it does not even have a fuel tap as it’s electronic!

Re – for talking to Richard on a ride-out at Spring Fever via their intercom & wondering why he did not answer her, when she was not plugged into the intercom.

Andy Kay – for having to come home on the Sunday of Spring Fever because he did not read the newsletter, booking form or his ticket & realise it was a 3 night event. Also because he set off for home not even knowing the way & got lost.

John Beresford – for leaving his lights on the whole weekend at the Minehead Rally flattening his battery, and when jumpstarted discovered he still did not have enough fuel to get to the petrol station.

August Bank Holiday – Ogri Rally, Kemble Airfield.

6th September – Wedding Escort for Clive & Karen

25th – 27th September 2008 – 17th European HOG Rally, Lake Garda, Italy 

26th – 28th September 2008 – New Forest HOG’s Autumn Blitz 3 Rally, Sandford Park, Nr. Wareham. Booking forms have now been sent off, ideas now needed for our fancy dress theme.

26th -28th September – NABD Face of Concern Rally, The Black Horse, Wan borough, Swindon. Cost £10 per person for the weekend, £5 per person for the day, Camping available.

19th October 2008 – Bridgewater Chapters Hoggin the Bridge 9, Chepstow, Monmouthshire.

Friday 24th October – Club AGM

Saturday 29th November - Annual Town Centre Collection day for the Toy Run. 

Saturday 13th December – Pinkerton’s Annual Toy Run to the Children’s ward of the Great Western Hospital
